Civil Engineering Consortium Jaypee University of Information Technology, Waknaghat SANRACHNA-2015 JUIT CEC TECHNICAL FEST 3rd-5th April, 2015.
A civil engineering technical fest under the name Sanrachna, sponsored by Sunrise Packagings, was organized by the Civil Engineering Consortium (CEC), a student body formed by civil engineering students of Jaypee University of Information Technology, Waknaghat from 3rd April 2015 to 5th April 2015.
The Fest started with the launch of 6th Edition of our magazine ‘Sanrachna’ during the opening cultural night on 3rd April 2015. This was followed by two-day technical fest activities. The Fest comprised 2nd International Convention of Engineering and Management (iCEM-2015). The journal, IJSER, will publish the presented papers. The keynote speaker in the conference was Prof. Har Amrit Sandhu from PEC University, Chandigarh. He spoke on Advanced Mapping in GIS.
The Chief Guest in the Opening Cultural Night was Er. D.K. Sharma, Managing Director, Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (HPPCL). He officially launched the Certificate of Guiness World Record (GWR) earned by CEC in 2014. The Cultural Night was a great success which was followed by the Star Night organized on 4th April 2015 with Punjabi Singer Alfaaz performing for over an hour. Various Technical and Fun events on the third day preceded the prize distribution ceremony held at the end of the day.
